Yes, Acne Studios had created a very sculptural collection with many amazing details as the AS statement shoes, leopard printed tights and bright coloured waist belts that can upgrade any old coat for next season.
The mix of materials was fun and playful which in my opinion can make even a chunky knit with leather pants look interesting. The puff jackets caught lots of attention with their deconstructed closure and shape.

One of the season’s favourites is Acne Studios’ take on classic squares, with new silhouettes and raw edges. We also love how Saint Laurent has made a punk version of the classic tartan with oversized casual shapes, and Chanel’s ladylike twist on the traditional cloth, in a minimalistic colourful styling with loose-cut tailoring. And if you’re not looking for a high-end treat, check out the High Streets for some alternatives! It’s one thing to spot the trend on the runway, but entirely another to figure out how to wear it yourself. The beauty of checks and tartans is that they blend different colours, so the styling possibilities are endless. Go head-to-toe tartan with a checked suit, or pull on a pair of jeans paired with a plain t-shirt and oversized coat – it all depends on how you feel.
