The Adidas Ultra boost sneaker got a new sister called pure boost. These are even more soft and comfortable to wear that it almost feels like walking on air. Stella McCartney created her take on the new sneaker with a multifunctional design. It is a knitted “sock” in a crisp blue and black, which without the laces could go for a slip on. Using them with the laces they have a more classic sneaker look, which also gives slightly more support if used while running or exercise. Brilliant for traveling or if you just have room for one pair of sneakers in your wardrobe.

A couple of weeks ago, the first universal agreement on climate change was inked at COP21 in Paris. This marks a major first step in the world banding together to take on an issue of epic global proportions. A number of brands have already started to tack in the right direction. For years, Stella McCartney has embraced a sustainable business model, and amongst fast-fashion brands, H&M has demonstrated a sincere desire to clean up its act, launching a variety of initiatives under the H&M Conscious banner. So when it comes to aesthetics and sustainability, it’s about rethinking what sustainability means, and moving away from disposable fashion towards recycling and reduced consumption.
Climate change may make the future feel scary, but there is hope. We predict 2016 to be a turning point for aesthetic sustainability, moving away from mere talk and inaction towards creative responsibility.

Describe your style?
My style is very feminine and classic.
What are your 3 favourite items when in Paris?
When I’m in Paris, you will always find me wearing a printed shirt, a pair of high heels, and some flared jeans.
Tell me your typical daily look?
My typical daily look is a pair of jeans or a short skirt with a sweater. I love to wear high heels, but my everyday life is very hectic with two kids, grocery shopping, and walking from meeting to meeting, so I’m often in flats, so I can move around quickly.

Who inspires you?
My girlfriends – they are all very different and therefore they inspire me in many different ways. They all have one thing in common though – they are beyond beautiful.
Which item will always remain in your wardrobe?
My Hermès scarves – I have five and even though I do not wear them much, I adore them all. The prints and colours are exquisite.
What’s at the top of your wish list?
More jewellery and bijouterie. I love all that sparkles and glitters, and it does not necessarily have to be expensive. However, on top of my “expensive” wish list is the Cushion Ring from Ole Lynggaard. It’s feminine and classic – just my style.

What’s your best style tip?
Don’t force trends. Always appear pampered, and smile!
No other fabric satisfies these cravings quite like velvet does, and the autumn runways seemed to agree. Velvet not only offers us textural comforts, but for many women velvet comes laden with nostalgia, harking back to the days as little girls all dressed up in poofy velvet dresses. Now that we’re all grown up, it is nice to see that velvet grew up with us – and even transformed itself into a chic fashion must-have for autumn 2015.
For a casual look we suggest pairing velvet with a leather jacket or some vintage Levi’s. The contrast in fabrics makes for a great, standout look. For a dressier outfit, you can go for a tonal top-to-toe velvet look.
